For the past decade, I have immersed myself in the study of sacred plant medicines and shamanism in Peru, guided by my esteemed teachers, Carmen Mendieta and Wilmar Perea. Under their mentorship, I have received initiations and the blessing to serve Ayahuasca. For women seeking to work with a female healer, I highly recommend Carmen Mendieta, a devoted practitioner who works with strict integrity and a deep respect for sacred plants. I follow this traditional Amazonian lineage.

 

My personal journey with Ayahuasca began over a decade ago, as I sought healing from alcohol addiction following a turbulent divorce. I experienced profound healing, which inspired me to dedicate my life to serving others find similar healing.​ In 2016, I founded La Musa Verde healing center, where I guide Ayahuasca ceremonies and retreats. 

 

The medicine of songs and music are an essential vehicle for healing with Ayahuasca. Ayahuasca and living in nature have been sources of great musical inspiration. I have composed numerous medicine songs and Icaros which I share in ceremony, concerts and recordings. I named my center La Musa Verde (the Green Muse) because Ayahuasca continues to be a source of inspiration in my life and my art.
